About this event

Most are getting sick of selling ourselves to businesses, causes, and institutions that pay the price tag of this society instead of cultivating what we truly find valuable in our culture. “Trabis: The Body and its Worth” finds that open vein of discontent and peels back the skin of the enclosures that separate our culture from our work. With the creative force of Mariel Romero Mendez and musical composition by B.E. Farrow, Trabis takes on the industries we sell ourselves to for one reason or another, clangs against the bars they surround us with, and asks if you want to acknowledge the bars around you.

“We want our work here to be beyond the presentation and talk in community about what we’re all working for and if that what truly liberates us” says Mariel and B.E. “We should always be plotting our escape and we can do it together”. You can join the conversation with a whisper or shout at their premiere performances.
