In honor of Anne Feeney's legacy, this fund supports 1-3 annual "Emerging Hellraiser" artists using art to support social movements in justice.
Founded and directed by longtime cultural worker Elise Bryant, the DC Labor Chorus is a musical ensemble that sings at concerts, rallies, demonstrations, and picket lines. While some members are current or former union employees, every member actively supports the principle of liberty and justice for all. Members are of various ages, races, and faith traditions. Some are professional musicians, while others simply enjoy blending their voices to make a joyous sound that comes from songs of the civil rights and labor movements. We sing for solidarity. We sing for peace. We sing for jobs. We sing for justice. We sing for joy! Your donation allows the choir to continue raising our voices in song for peace, jobs, and justice! We thank you for your support!
A general donation can be a one-time or reccurring donation. Your donation is tax deductible.
The Labor Heritage Foundation’s annual MLK “Gonna Take Us All” Ball is an evening of solidarity, music, and action—bringing workers, artists, and allies together to honor Dr. King’s legacy through shared culture and collective struggle. Your contributions help keep ticket prices low and ensure that everyone can participate.
Support LHF's main fundraising event where we honor Labor Leaders and celebrate Arts within the Labor Movement!
A matching grant challenge has been issued by LHF supporter Phil Straus. All contributions to the Labor Heritage Foundation – up to $10,000 total – will be matched, effectively doubling contributions. “This will enable LHF to continue to expand our reach and impact,” said LHF Executive Director Chris Garlock. “We’re tremendously appreciative of the support and vision and urge all our LHF family to make a contribution now to ensure that LHF receives the full challenge grant!”
