About this event

Join the Michigan Labor History Society (MLHS) on a guided bus tour of important labor sites around the city.

This narrated tour will visit the Detroit Hunger March Memorial, the Ford Rouge Plant, site of the 1937 Battle of the Overpass, UAW Local 600, Motown Museum, and the Ford Piquette Plant to name a few. This interesting, local history filled tour is sure to teach you something about the city that you did not know.

Tours are provided free of charge by members of MLHS, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, though donations are always appreciated. This is a special labor history bus tour that has been organized on Halloween using funds generously granted to MLHS by the Motor Cities National Heritage Area, NPS to foster labor and community education activities.

Registration is required.
