“No contract, no coffee!” This highly inspirational documentary centers on the Starbuck’s baristas in Buffalo, NY who stood up to CEO Howard Shultz to form the country’s first unionized Starbuck’s store. Based on workers’ voices and narrated by Susan Sarandon, the film presents the continued struggle by these brave millennials and gen-Zs in Buffalo and other cities to form a first contract in the midst of the company’s persistent unfair and often illegal anti-union campaign. Rochester’s own Workers United Manager, Gary Bonadonna Jr. is featured.
