About this event

Special Backbone-sponsored screening of the short doc Projecting Protest, a film featuring Backbone Campaign.  Following the screening will be a Q&A with Bill Moyer and the film's Director, Tom Clement.  Then Bill will show the basics of light projection and how we use GOBOs, the LED adaptation, and more!

Directed by Tom Clement, Projecting Protest explores guerrilla light projection - a creative tool harnessed by Backbone Campaign to showcase progressive values.

Today, activists across the political spectrum are using projectors to beam messages onto buildings, pushing the boundaries of free speech, protest, and property rights in ways that are both creative and unsettling.

Tom and Bill will answer questions and offer additional insights in the Q&A portion of Thursday's event, then Bill will transition to Backbone's Warehouse to demo the light projection set up and explain how folks can get a light and GOBOs.
