About this event
Join authors and celebrate the publication of Kalmanovitz Initiative's very own Patrick Dixon's new book: "Nuggets of Gold: Further Processed Chicken and the Making of the American Diet"
Patrick will be joined by Leon Fink whose classic work "The Maya of Morganton: Work and Community in the Nuevo South" has been reissued with a 20th anniversary edition.
Join both authors for a conversation on the political economy of the poultry business and the past and present of the Southern working class.
