About this event
The Sharing Voices: Race and #RealTalk program will commemorate Juneteenth and celebrate music as a joyful means of building community connection. The musical lineup includes the DC LaborChorus, the HALO Quartet, Capital Accord Chorus, SongRise, and the Washington Ethical Society Chorus.
Donations will benefit Montgomery County nonprofits serving marginalized populations. Tickets for the June 15 program are free, but advance registration is required because of limited seating. (Note that, although Black Rock has other events happening that day, registration on this site (not BlackRock’s) is needed to attend our concert.? Note that our site offers the option of making one of your tickets a donation ticket. All donations will support community music initiatives in Montgomery County that serve marginalized populations.?Thus, if you make one of your tickets a “ticket-plus-donation,” the donation amount will go to that organization, not to our chorus.?(Note that you’ll also be able to donate on the day of the event on-site.)
