The American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) last week issued a Do Not Work Order for the Dallas Black Dance Theatre (DBDT) after nine main-company members were fired in an attempt at union-busting. “What is happening to the dancers of DBDT, who stood united for a voice in their workplace, is one of the most extreme cases we’ve ever encountered,” said AGMA President Ned Hanlon.
